The British Youth Council is helping NHS England bring together a group of young people give advice and opinions on healthcare policies and provide ideas on how services can be improved.
The group will come together 3 times a year to work directly with decision makers regarding key areas of work. The work will be decided in partnership with the young people’s group. They will also be involved in on-going work throughout the year. This will involve connecting via email and social media, as well as taking part in discussions, reviewing and feeding back on materials outside of meetings.
To apply to join the Youth Forum please download an application form at www.england.nhs.uk/ourwork/patients/yth-for/ and return it before the 4th December 2013
NHS England want to have wider discussions and get feedback from lots of young people about key issues. This will be done through forums such as the recently launched Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NHSEnglandYF
